Daniel W Chung is a Chicago-based creative working across writing, photography, and personal creative projects. Through ARSENAL Industries, he shares stories, ideas, images, and original concepts shaped by memory, imagination, and personal experience. He is based in Edgewater, Chicago and the northwest suburbs.
Daniel’s creative path brings together multiple interests, including writing, photography, gaming, cosplay, music, and technology. He describes his brand in simple terms: military science fiction stories, creative work, and experiences meant to help people relax or enjoy a sense of thrill.
His work is influenced by the past and by the memories that shaped him. He values staying friendly, positive, and open to people who genuinely understand his vision. Whether he is developing a story, taking photographs, or working on creative ideas, his goal is to create something meaningful and memorable.
Daniel is also the published author of ARSENAL Anthology: Memories, his first published work. The book reflects many of the themes found across his creative identity, including military science fiction, world history, drama, nostalgia, and memory.
He describes photography as something he started as a small entrepreneur business and a way to share memories. His interest in photography first grew through anime and comic book conventions in 2012, and he has spent about four years working on photography-related projects.
Photography is one part of a wider creative life. Daniel says his actual long-term career goal is to work with machines and software, especially video games, while continuing to write and build creative projects of his own.
He describes his artistic style as “Worth the Moments.” He enjoys capturing anything he finds intriguing or interesting, from special events to conventions, museums, portraits, and everyday moments that stand out to him. His goal is simple: to help people feel relaxed and happy.
His past plays a major role in shaping his work and perspective. He believes that his journey is what brought him to where he is today, and that same personal history continues to influence his stories, ideas, and creative direction.
Daniel is also a gamer, computer technician, professional cosplayer, writer, guitar musician, singer, and former salesman. These interests all contribute to the voice and personality behind his creative work.
